Getting a second opinion is of utmost importance

2 minute read

A person is seen using a tool to clear muddy water from a clogged drain pipe situated along a concrete curb, while another individual nearby appears to be offering their second opinion on the best method to tackle the blockage.

It’s always important to get a second opinion if you aren’t happy or unsure of the first.

Often we are called out to jobs where the customer has been given wrong information or an extreme price for a simple fix. More often than not, customers will take the cheapest quote – understandable in this day and age.  However, sometimes, you just get what you pay for. We feel it is so important that you find ‘YOUR’ plumber that you trust and continue to do business with.  You can build that open, honest relationship and know that what you are getting is the real deal.  At Doran Plumbing and Drainage we take pride in the fact our customers are repeat customers and refer us by word of mouth.  We are open, honest and transparent in all of our transactions which leads to good working relationships.

Reason 1:

First, plumbing repairs can be expensive, especially if the work needed is extensive. Getting a second opinion could help save you money and avoid unnecessary repairs.

Reason 2:

Another reason to get a second opinion is to help you make sense of a plumbing estimate.

This customer was lied to by their previous plumber (or given misinformation).

I always recommend getting a second opinion when things just don’t seem right or the quote for repair is a little far fetched. In this case, the customer needed a plumber with the right equipment, knowledge and willingness to have a go at unblocking the drain!

Watch as I clear the drain.
